Once in Ourika you will have free time to explore the valley, eat in its traditional restaurants, or visit the Setti Fatma waterfall nearby. However, you should be aware that accessing the falls requires a 90-minute climb up steep terrain, so you will need to be in good physical shape to do so.
The tour will return to Marrakech in the afternoon.
If you’re staying outside the old town, we will pick you up from the hotel or riad. If your hotel is in the Marrakech outskirts, you will have to pay a supplement of between $10 ( €8 ) depending on the distance.
This day trip includes an English speaking driver, but is not a guided tour. If you would like to hire a local guide to take you around Ourika, ask for prices on the day of the tour.

Ali was an excellent driver. He also advised us of an excellent guide: Mohamed, who helped us with slippery areas. The excursion is highly recommended: a breath of fresh air and greenery. Afterwards we ate next to the river, cooling our feet in the icy waters that flow down from the mountain.
It was a very pleasant journey with Ibrahim, arriving at the agreed times and giving us explanations of each phase of the trip. Without a doubt a very good experience.
It is a totally recommended excursion, we had a great time. Taoufik, the minibus driver, picked us up near hotel Islane and took us to Ourika. Once there, we went up to the waterfalls with the local guide Mohamed and later we ate by the river. Both Taoufik and Mohamed were very kind.
Siamo arrivati a Marrakech con l’idea di fare qualche escursione/attività. Abbiamo scelto quella più vicina, la Valle Ourika, perché c’era un avviso di maltempo. La visita alla valle è stata bagnata e con temperature tra i 3 e i 6 gradi, ma grazie al buon lavoro di Tarik, e al fatto che con la pioggia la valle era bellissima, ci siamo davvero divertiti con l’attività. Supponiamo che in estate le cose saranno piuttosto diverse, ma per l’inverno e la primavera è più che consigliabile.

It has been an incredible excursion. our driver, Ali, made everything so much better. He showed us several things on the way to Ourika, such as the house of the Berbers or a women’s shop that makes argan oil, as well as stopping several times in beautiful landscapes to take photos. once in Ourika Mohammed, who showed us the whole valley and he was great. The treatment of the guides has been excellent and we have had a great time. highly recommended!!
The truth is that the valley is very beautiful, do not expect much from the waterfall, the climb is not suitable for people with mobility problems but my partner and I liked it a lot, we have also made friends with a super nice Asturian couple and that has helped a lot to liven up the trip.
